Emma J Morgan LMP

Emma J Morgan, LMP, graduated from Whatcom Community College’s Massage Practitioner Program in 2010. Since graduation, Emma has been practicing all types of massage from Swedish Relaxation with Reflexology to deep tissue sports massage.

I created the vector art for the background. Most of the photographs on the site I took on location at her office. I also helped Emma with the domain and hosting and created a google places listing.

The Looking Glass Salon

I designed and created this website for a local hair and beauty salon. The owner was emphatic that the website make the decor and feel of the salon itself. I spent some time in the salon, photographed the interior and created the tessellated background image as the basic inspiration for the site.

All of the photographs on the site are ones I took of the interior of the salon. In addition to designing and coding the site, I educated the owner in the maintenance of a domain and hosting account.

Tart Beauty

I created this website for a local esthetician and makeup consultation team. I created this site with simplicity, ease of use, and company branding as my main goals.

In addition to designing and coding the site, I created and managed a Google Places listing and hooked up their blog to the site.

Sustainability Reporting Guide

I designed a website to serve as a guide for local businesses intersted in creating their own sustainability reprots for my Honors Senior Capstone project at Western Washington Univeristy.

In order to create the site I conducted extensive research into the field of sustainable business practices and sustainability reporting.

I created the website from scratch using Miscrosoft Visual Studio.

Western's Formula SAE Team

I interned with Western's Vehicle Research Institue Formula SAE team during my Web Content Developer Certificate program. My task was to rework and update their antequated and occasionally broken website.

I scrubbed code, corrected images and links, reintegrated all video via youtube, deteled and added pages, recoded the navigation, and created a new design for the site to help give them an edgier electronic presence.
